My mother has been at the Iris OKC Memory Care Facility for almost a year. My family looked at several other Memory Care Facilities before checking her in there. We have been very pleased with the care she receives. Through frequent visits, and the ability to monitor her environment with a camera in her room, we are convinced she gets great care. Since Mom’s arrival, there have been some concerns/requests that our family discussed with Iris Staff & Management. They have always been willing to listen to us, and make changes if possible, when needed.
If you are looking for the perfect staff of perfect people, you won’t find it here, or ANYWHERE. But, if you are looking for a caring & professional staff, in a top notch facility for your loved one, you have come to the right place, if you are in the Oklahoma City vicinity. The staff & care-givers are second to none, and treat the residents with compassion & care.

I feel it only right to share with the public that although reviews are sometimes helpful, they are not always dependable. I am the administrator of Heritage Point of Oklahoma City and it saddens me to see negative comments left by individuals who are obviously not connected to us in any way shape or form. Our families know that we strive hard to please and care for our residents and never would we allow such blatant negligence as suggested occur. I encourage you to visit our campus and talk with our families and staff… you’ll see and feel the positive difference right away! We are blessed and honored to care for the individuals entrusted to us and it is for them that I must stand up and defend their reputation as this is their home and it should be respected as such.
The next time somebody chooses to write a negative comment, please consider those you are attacking. If indeed you do have an issue or concern, please bring it to my attention as I know through good communication, all things can be resolved.

My uncle was at Iris Memory Care NW for just under 2 months before he passed. He was a very picky man but liked the facility from the first day. I was impressed with the staff as they are actual employees and not outside contract employees. They made him feel at home and stayed in contact with me if he had any issues. They are completing a large remodel to all the buildings. Paula the Executive Director and Matt the Wellness Director are easy to talk to and listen to what you say.

Working with families that are searching for the right memory care can be stressful. Iris is always a wonderful option to tell families about. DD has such great knowledge to help families through this process. Everyone leaves so much more relaxed and at peace that that they have made the right decision for their loved one.

IRIS is my top rated memory care community in OKC. The community was newly renovated and looks amazing. The workers have all been very nice. Communication is key when moving your loved one into any community, and IRIS memory care does a fantastic job at keeping me updated and informed. They truly care for the residents!

This is the best facility I've been in contact with and used. I've been in many facilities that I would never put a family member in because they were not hygienic, well staffed, and the service was not satisfactory, but Iris is the complete opposite! Love everything about it.

The management team are rude and unprofessional the employees are the best part but I have notice the never get any praise and thats sad I am thankful for the staff but the mangment is rarely seem involved and every week mangment is changing to me or in meetings all that sends up a red flag!

Horrible place. They are so unprofessional. They hire absolutely ANYONE to work here. The staff is so rude and LAZY. The outside looks nice but its the inside that is horrible. My mother was there for a couple of months.. Her clothes were missing,, her jewelry was missing.. I asked the nurses if they knew where her stuff was no one could tell me anything.. They have a nurse who doesn't even know what she's talking about half of the time . When you ask her something she just gives you this dumb stare. The DON is very unprofessional she doesn't even know how to run her staff. This place is suppose to be assist living but they have nursing home residents there. Everytime i went to check on my mother id see staff just sitting around watching tv or outside smoking cigarettes. If I were you I'd save my money. If your looking for a nice trustworthy place for your family this is NOT IT!

The price sticker normally would indicate this is one of the best places, but this couldn't be farther from the truth! Staffing issues are overwhelming; down to 2 employees per entire building. Residents are soaking wet from not being changed in timely manner. Food is absolutely disgusting, a normal person would never eat it, so I'm very disturbed that they serve it to the elderlys! Medications are not being refilled, and residents can go days without them. If you think this is a place for your loved one , please look around! Families are having to hire additional caregivers in order to provide appropriate care, which is ridiculous if you think how much money it costs to move someone in there. Sadly, most of the memory care facilities are pretty bad, but this one is something else! The new owners "remodeled " the place on the inside to attract potential clients.. but that's all you will get! The look...not the care! It is absolutely an upper management issue. This is a money maker, not a facility that is supposed to care for our loved ones. CNAs are constantly arguing between each other and at times "don't feel like they want to pick a resident up off the floor " Yes....
The residents are OFTEN on the floor due to falling (while being unsupervised). Frequent hospital emergency visits!
